A FUN WEEKEND

 Michele sang with the North Junior High Singers for the second year at The Gingerbread House competition .

 This was one of the cutest gingerbread houses.

 We took Navy to the Goebel Farm to pick out our Christmas tree.

 She enjoyed climbing the stairs into the hay loft.

 We also purchased a 2008 Dodge Caravan. 

 James brought grits home and said he was going to start eating them. Do you think he has a southern belle in his sites?

 James and Michele took a partners dance class. They learned the fox trot and the mumba. Maybe they will be in the next Dancing With the Stars.

I helped Jessica make Kenan and Easton Christmas sleep pants. Aren't they cute?

ALZHEIMER WALK

 Saturday Lynne, Michele, and I participated in the Alzheimer Walk in memory of our mom and grandmother who died of Alzheimer's. Lynne raised over $400.00.

LIFE CHAIN

Michele and I participated in the life chain sponsored by Right to Life this afternoon.  We stood along Green River Road between 1-2 PM and held various signs.

FUN IN THE LEAVES

We knew the kids were coming over Friday night so we raked the tallest pile of leaves we could. They could not wait to jump in it. They had fun just in time before the rain started.

My First Kayak

Exploring the back waters of McCutchanville.  Greg had been saving money for a kayak when an acquaintance offered him the kayak he had in his basement. He jumped at the chance and loaded in the van.  Tonight was the first chance we got to try it out.  We had a lot of fun.
