POOL TIME

Jonathan reminds me of Big Bird sitting on his nest.

FLOWERS

For the last several years I have planted a different variety of sunflowers.  I am still amazed when I throw some seeds in the ground such a big flower grows up.  It reminds me of the parable in the Bible of the mustard seed.  I wanted to share some of my beautiful flowers with you.

ROAD TRIP

Michele trying out some of the comfy couches in Ikea

Over the weekend we headed off to Cincinnati .  We liked  biking along the Loveland Bike Trail that runs along the Little Miami River. It is paved and mostly shaded which made riding easier.  Over two days we probably rode thirty miles.  I was really proud of Michele. We also went to the zoo.  It was awesome.  The elephant show was great and we were thrilled to see a leopard run.  I think we had the most fun strolling through Ikea dreaming of new kitchens and bedrooms. On the way home we stopped to visit Aunt Edwina who is recovering from an illness at a rehab center in Sellersburg. It is a very nice facility and I think she was happy to see us

CLIMBING WALL

Luke has a membership to Vertical Escape so Michele and I thought we needed some adventure in our lives so Friday we went along with him.  I had climbed with Gretchen about 5 years ago, but this was Michele's first time. She really liked it and wants to go again.
