FUN IN THE LEAVES

We knew the kids were coming over Friday night so we raked the tallest pile of leaves we could. They could not wait to jump in it. They had fun just in time before the rain started.

My First Kayak

Exploring the back waters of McCutchanville.  Greg had been saving money for a kayak when an acquaintance offered him the kayak he had in his basement. He jumped at the chance and loaded in the van.  Tonight was the first chance we got to try it out.  We had a lot of fun.

Only five girls, Grace, Michele, Haley, Maddie and Emily 

participated, but they had a great time.

They worked on three areas of performing, singing, dancing and theater.

They sang "It's A Hard Knock Life".

MY 1ST MUSICAL, MUSIC MAN

I am so glad I got to be in the musical at North. I am so happy I got the part of Gracie Shinn, the major's youngest daughter. I made so many friends and I hope I can do it next year.

GREASE

Michele went to her friends birthday party and they had to dress up as their favorite movie character. Michele chose to be Sandy from Grease and borrowed the costume from Katie.

FIRST'S FOR THE NEW YEAR

Our family was able to join Tri-State Athletic  Club for the month of January.  Michele has really got into running on the treadmill; she has ran ten miles this week.

Michele has another first this year.  Tuesday she got her braces.  She was anticipating a lot of pain, but it wasn't to bad.  She can't eat certain  foods and has to brush often.
